Program Description

We send transactional and service-related text messages only. Message types include: appointment confirmations, scheduling reminders, technician dispatch notifications, estimated arrival time updates, follow-up messages on pending estimates, and post-service review requests.

How to Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS messages from us by checking the SMS consent checkbox on our contact or quote request form, or by providing your mobile number and verbally agreeing to receive text messages during a phone or in-person interaction with our team. Opt-in is always voluntary. Consent to receive SMS messages is never required as a condition of purchasing our services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You may receive up to 5 messages per service appointment (confirmation, reminder, dispatch, arrival, and follow-up). We do not send unsolicited promotional blasts.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for SMS and data usage apply to all messages sent and received. Epic Electric FL LLC does not charge any additional fee for SMS communications.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send. Additional opt-out keywords we honor: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. Upon receipt of any of these keywords, we will send one final confirmation message and you will receive no further SMS messages from us unless you re-opt-in.

No Third-Party Marketing Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, release, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive SMS messages from Epic Electric FL LLC applies only to communications from Epic Electric FL LLC and is not transferable.

5. Email Communications

By providing your email address, you consent to receive transactional emails from us, including appointment confirmations, estimates, invoices, service summaries, and follow-up communications related to your service. These are not marketing emails and are sent as part of delivering our services.

You may opt out of non-essential email communications by replying to any email with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line or contacting us directly. Note that transactional messages (invoices, receipts, safety notices) may still be sent as required to fulfill your service.

6. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers — Vendors and platforms that help us operate our business, including Twilio (SMS delivery), Resend (transactional email), and Supabase (secure data storage). These providers are permitted to use your data only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
• Legal Compliance — When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, such as building permit submissions or responses to lawful government requests.
• Business Transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.
• With Your Consent — For any other purpose with your explicit prior consent.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our data is stored using Supabase, which employs encryption at rest and in transit. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations (including Florida contractor licensing requirements), and resolve disputes. Job and customer records may be retained for up to seven (7) years. SMS opt-in and opt-out records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years to comply with TCPA recordkeeping requirements.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to improve user experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some site features may not function as intended. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or share data with ad networks.
